Narsingdi district is a backward town in Bangladesh in terms of skill education. People have to constantly struggle to meet their basic needs like food, clothing, shelter, medical care and education. Although the government has taken various steps to bring technical education and skill training to a large population, there is still a long way to go to ensure quality technical education in these towns of the country. In this context, the educational institution "Shilmandi Youth Development Training Center" was established in the year 2018 with the aim of conducting the technical training program called "Shilmandi Youth Development Training Center" in order to develop the potential trainees here to meet the challenges of the millennium in a completely public welfare, non-political and non-profit manner.

* To awaken the potential within every potential trainee and prepare him/her to face the challenges of the future by creating an environment conducive to technical education in the campuses and training labs and classrooms of his/her technical educational institution.

* Developing the future generation of trainees by incorporating the fundamentals of patriotism, nationality, socio-cultural heritage and religious values ​​into the curriculum.

* To endeavor to impart technical education as well as psycho-social development of the trainees through the inclusion of art entertainment and extra-curricular/ co-curricular subjects in the syllabus and conduct of activities.

* To develop the knowledge of the trainees by creating a correct understanding of information technology including innovative and diverse modern knowledge science practices.

* To expose the trainees to technical education as well as academic education, social, cultural and cognitive sciences through the use of modern teaching aids (eg laptops, multimedia projectors).

* To prepare trainees to meet the challenges of globalization according to future technical education competency standards.
